HLU stands for tenant-controlled apartment maintenance and means that you as a tenant have the opportunity to largely influence your housing. For example, you get to choose wallpaper and flooring when it is time to renovate your home. For a fee, you can have maintenance performed earlier than planned. You can also choose to refrain from this and instead receive a monthly maintenance discount on the rent.
Redecorating the apartment yourself?
You have the right to paint and wallpaper your apartment at your own expense. However, the work must be carried out in a professional manner, and the paint or wallpaper must be neutral. Otherwise, you may be liable to pay the cost of restoring the home when you move out.

Step 1
Choose the wallpaper you want. We have these wallpapers to choose from Borosan BAS and Borosan HEM. Instead of coming to our office, you can choose wallpaper at home in peace and quiet. Step 2
Notify us which wallpaper you want. The easiest way to do this is to send us a message via our form which you can find here. Remember to write which apartment the order refers to, name and address. Also, write which room is to be wallpapered and the article number of the wallpaper. It is a little further down the page.
Please note that you cannot choose wallpaper for the kitchen and hall; if they are also to be renovated, they will be repainted.
