Falköpings Hyresbostäder AB is responsible for personal data processing that we conduct ourselves or that another company conducts on our behalf.
We process the personal data necessary for both of us to benefit the most from our collaboration. Your privacy is important to us, and we therefore want you to read on to learn more. Personal data is any kind of information that can be linked to you as a person, such as name, address, contact details like phone numbers and email addresses.
Data protection legislation does not apply if the information concerns a group of individuals or an organization. Legal entities (such as limited companies) are not included in the definition of personal data. However, a sole proprietorship/individual trader is equated with a natural person and is therefore covered. Note also that it is not only private individuals who are covered by the legislation but also individuals in their roles as, for example, traders, contact persons for a company, or professionals.
If you represent a company (supplier/contractor) when we start a collaboration, we need to process several pieces of information about you. We need, for example, names, contact details, and other information that facilitates or regulates our collaboration through agreements. If your company is a sole proprietorship, it can be difficult to distinguish between personal data and the data linked to the company. If necessary for our collaboration, we ask for references, information about your finances, or your employment. This may involve conducting credit checks, obtaining information from collection agencies and the Enforcement Authority, and processing employment certificates, other certificates, or information from reference persons you provide to us.
We process your personal data when it is necessary to pursue a legal claim, for example, during a warranty period. Otherwise, reference is made to the writing regarding public documents and archiving. We may engage a data processor for the processing of your personal data. This may apply, for example, in contacts with a subcontractor or another partner when it is necessary for the project/contract to proceed as planned. We also disclose your personal data when required by law or government decision.
We may engage a data processor for the processing of your personal data. It is also likely that we need to establish a data processing agreement with you as a partner, for example, concerning a contractor who will repair something in an apartment or a company providing broadband or electricity. This also applies to our system suppliers. In these cases, we establish an agreement with you as a data processor where we regulate how you may use the personal data you receive from us and how they should be stored and cleared.
Your rights as a registered individual are outlined in “General information for registered individuals“. Contact details for the data controller and data protection officer are also provided in this document.
