Gumsen
The Gumsen area is located approximately 2 km from Falköping’s center and just a few minutes’ walk from the Central Station. Public transportation is well-developed.
The area features a grocery store, shops, restaurants, Dotorp School, and Dotorp recreational area with its many football fields and sports hall.

In this part of the area, we have two-story buildings constructed in the 1980s, renovated 2024-2025. They contain well-planned two, three, and four-room apartments, all with private entrances. Each apartment has either a patio or balcony. Ground floor apartments are accessible without steps. In the middle of the area lies a beautiful courtyard with wonderful play areas for children.
There are two shared laundry rooms that can be booked digitally. The laundry rooms are equipped with modern self-dosing washing machines. Cold garages and outdoor parking spaces are available for rent.

The Gumsen area also includes three-story buildings constructed in the 1970s. The apartments, which were renovated in 2024-2025, range from one to four rooms, with some apartments located on the ground floor allowing step-free access. During 2024-2025, plumbing renovation was carried out with new kitchens, bathrooms, windows, new electrical systems, and new efficient ventilation (FTX). Outside the buildings is a beautiful, lush courtyard.
The two shared laundry rooms have modern self-dosing washing machines that can be booked digitally. Parking spaces are also available for rent in the area, both outdoor and in cold garages.

Gumsen is a quiet and pleasantly located area – just a stone’s throw from Falköping Central Station. The buildings consist of an older section from the 1970s and a newer section built in the early 1980s, all renovated 2024-2025. In the middle of the area lies a beautiful courtyard with wonderful play areas for children.
Old Gumsen consists of three-story buildings. The first floor is at ground level, allowing you to reach the apartments without any steps. New Gumsen consists of two-story buildings, all with private entrances. Each apartment has either a patio or balcony. Ground floor apartments are accessible without steps.
Within walking distance is Dotorp School, and just a few blocks away is Ranten’s shopping center with shops, grocery store, restaurants, etc. The Dotorp recreational area with its many football fields and sports hall is directly adjacent.
